Woodend Barn

Since 1994, Woodend Barn has grown into the leading multi-arts organisation in North East Scotland.

The Barn is a cultural hub of innovative artistic exploration. Our multi-disciplinary approach, combined with the unique properties of our building and location, provides tremendous potential for learning and creative development of all kinds, making Woodend Barn a site for ground-breaking explorations and new experiences.

The Barn’s dedicated Creative Learning programme for schools offers opportunities for workshops, projects and performances. Through these we encourage participants to explore their creativity, take inspiration, be daring and have fun under the guidance of some of Scotland’s leading arts practitioners.
