Dance House

As one of the National Dance Agencies for Scotland, Dance House aims to inspire and celebrate the potential for dance in everyone by supporting the professional dance sector; offering an exciting and diverse programme of adult classes and developing an extensive education and outreach programme.

Dance House can provide a wide variety of creative and imaginative cross curricular workshops which are specifically devised to help deliver the arts infused approach to learning promoted in the Curriculum for Excellence, and adapted to suit the specific learning needs of any school.

Our teachers are skilled in the delivery of many different dance styles – street, hip hop, contemporary, ballet, ballroom, tango, jive, flamenco etc.

We also have an inspiring CPD programme and can offer both twilight and full day training sessions for teachers. These sessions will give teachers a valuable insight into how dance and creative movement can be incorporated into the effective delivery of Curriculum for Excellence.
