Cumbernauld Theatre
Cumbernauld Theatre is a thriving arts centre developing a range of high quality creative programmes throughout the year including in-house productions and co-productions, touring productions, educational and participatory projects, youth theatre, summer schools and inter-generational work. The Company regularly develops special partnership projects with other organisations which often involve a significant educational and/or schools-focused element.
Working in partnership with teachers, pupils and the wider school community, the Company has a special focus upon developing participatory projects and productions which both challenging and engaging children and young people. We seek to create integrated and powerful leaning experiences and welcome approaches from organisations to collaborate in developing new ideas and approaches to using creativity in the classroom.
