Fife Contemporary
Fife Contemporary produces a high quality programme of visual art and craft to support artists and makers and for the public in Fife, facilitating engagement between them and enriching their lives.
Our education work is integrated within the programme. Throughout the year, this can include practical workshops for adults & young people to accompany exhibitions and projects; work with schools and other community groups; and specialist interest events such as symposia linked to a specific exhibition or project. There are also free, downloadable resources on the website including several mini craft workshops & education packs.
In 2021, as a result of the pandemic, the annual Summer School (aimed at senior pupils with a strong interest in visual art and craft) moved to a digital format. In future years, it is hoped to offer a more hybrid version.
