ARTiculation Prize 2021

ARTiculation Prize is a public speaking competition on art which develops confidence, oracy skills and passion for the arts. For S5 and S6 students.
Students are invited to each deliver a 10-minute presentation to an audience about a work of art, architecture or an artefact of their choice. Adjudicators then assess each presentation as a whole, looking at content, structure, delivery and the speaker’s original approach and unique potential.

LOCATION: University of Stirling
Schools that sign up for the ARTiculation Prize will receive online tailored mentoring sessions from the ARTiculation team in order to develop their presentations, ideas and structure their work. These will take place every Monday leading up to Prize. Specific dates and times on our website.
For schools that are not able to travel to the University of Stirling, a live online opportunity is available.
ARTiculation Prize is the Roche Court Educational Trust’s national public speaking competition on art. Students are invited to each deliver a ten-minute presentation to an audience about a work of art, architecture or an artefact of their choice. All participants receive Student Art Passes from the Art Fund and join the Alumni Network which works to showcase alumni in the art world, such as through HENI Talks. Adjudicators have included Antony Gormley, Caroline Campbell, Tristram Hunt and Griselda Pollock.
